Marangu Route – 6 Days – Classic Coca-Cola Route

Climb Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route in 6 Days

The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is a classic Kilimanjaro trek that combines adventure with comfort. Unique for its hut accommodations, this route allows climbers to experience Kilimanjaro’s diverse ecosystems—from lush rainforest to alpine moorland and volcanic desert—without camping. The extra day on this 6-day itinerary enhances acclimatization, improving the chances of reaching the summit while providing time to fully enjoy the stunning landscapes.

Over six days, trekkers gradually ascend the mountain, guided by expert local guides who ensure safety, provide insights about the mountain’s flora and fauna, and make every step of the journey memorable. Each stage balances challenge and rest, offering climbers the chance to experience the true majesty of Africa’s highest peak.

Surrounded by the serenity of the forest, you enjoy your first night on the mountain with dinner in the hut and guidance from your experienced team.
