Travel far beyond the usual safari routes to one of Tanzania’s most remote and untouched wilderness areas. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled shared charter flight from Arusha Airport to Katavi Airstrip. Shared charter flights operate on Mondays and Thursdays only.
On arrival in Katavi, enjoy a game-drive transfer to the lodge if time allows, followed by a warm welcome from the lodge staff and lunch. Later in the afternoon or early evening, head out on your first game drive before returning for sundowners around the campfire, dinner, and overnight at the lodge.
Following breakfast, depart the lodge for a morning game drive through Katavi National Park, home to vast floodplains and impressive concentrations of wildlife. Return to the lodge for brunch or an early lunch.
The afternoon is spent at leisure before setting out again for an afternoon or early evening game drive. End the day with a classic safari sundowner, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Katavi National Park, allowing for deeper exploration of this remote and untouched ecosystem. A packed lunch will be enjoyed in the bush during the day.
Return to the lodge in the late afternoon to relax before evening sundowners and dinner. An optional night game drive can be arranged, offering the chance to observe nocturnal wildlife before your overnight stay.
