Embark on a thrilling 3-day safari through two of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations—Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Starting from Arusha, this compact yet immersive journey offers unforgettable wildlife experiences.

On Day 1, travel through scenic highlands to the Serengeti, enjoying a game drive as you enter the endless plains teeming with wildlife. Spend Day 2 exploring the Serengeti’s vast ecosystems in search of the Big Five and, depending on the season, the spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration. On Day 3, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most wildlife-rich regions, before returning to Arusha.

Trip Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

    Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel. After a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro highlands, you’ll arrive at Serengeti National Park—Tanzania’s most famous wildlife sanctuary. En route, enjoy game viewing as you enter the endless plains filled with iconic African wildlife. Expect to see zebras, giraffes, elephants, and possibly big cats like lions and cheetahs. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for dinner and overnight under the stars of the Serengeti.

  • Day 2: Full Day Serengeti Safari

    Wake up early for a full day of game drives across the vast Serengeti plains. Depending on the time of year, you may witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration, as well as encounters with lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and a variety of antelope and bird species. Break for a bush picnic lunch and continue exploring different areas of the park. Return to your lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation

  • Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Back to Arusha

    Depart Serengeti after an early breakfast and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater—an incredible wildlife haven and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a half-day game drive on the crater floor, where you're likely to spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. After your picnic lunch inside the crater, begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
