Arrival Day In Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your Tanzania Offroad Trips guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may opt for a brief town tour, relax at the lodge, or prepare for the adventure ahead. Arusha, nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, offers a great atmosphere to begin your safari journey.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, home to large herds of elephants and the striking baobab trees. The Tarangire River, flowing year-round, draws countless animals, especially in the dry season. Spot giraffes, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch and afternoon game drive before heading to your luxury camp or lodge.

Leave Tarangire behind and travel through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, enjoy scenic views of villages and lush plantations. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Serengeti National Park

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting full-day game drive. Known for its high density of wildlife, this natural wonder shelters the Big Five, including endangered black rhinos. After lunch near the hippo pool, ascend the crater wall and continue your journey into the Serengeti National Park, arriving for an evening game drive before settling into camp
Day 5: Central/Northern Serengeti – Migration Game Viewing

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti, tracking the herds of the Great Migration. Depending on the season, your guide will lead you to the best locations—whether in the Central plains or the Northern region near the Mara River. Witness dramatic predator-prey interactions, elephants roaming freely, and countless birds soaring overhead.
Day 6: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Enjoy another immersive safari in the Serengeti, maximizing your chances of seeing elusive predators and catching thrilling wildlife action. Marvel at the endless savannahs, kopjes, and seasonal waterholes where animals gather. Break for lunch in a scenic spot and return to camp in the evening for dinner under the stars.
Day 7: Serengeti – Karatu via Ngorongoro Highlands

After an early breakfast and a final game drive in the Serengeti, begin your journey out of the park, heading through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward Karatu. Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha

On your final safari day, visit Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and diverse habitats. Enjoy a relaxed morning game drive, stopping for a picnic lunch before driving back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
